With Orthodox Christmas upon us, my heart is with those sheltering at the Church of Saint Porphyrius in Gaza, terrorized by a prior Israeli attack on the compound and denied proper access to aid and medical care as we speak. Praying next Christmas is a peaceful and just one.
May 2024 be kinder to those most vulnerable. May those apart due to exile, detention, and war be reunited. May this year provide us with the platform, the resources, and the access to make our communities and our world more just, more peaceful, more free than the year prior.
