Narrow-leaved Ragwort isn't very common in Fife, so I was pleased to find it at Tentsmuir this week. And - bonus - a sleeping bee too! #wildflowerhour@bsbibotany.bsky.social@wildflowerhour.bsky.social

A new discovery for me - tiny stalk-less sporophytes on the thallus of a Riccia in a stubble field. I think it’s Riccia sorocarpa, with a deep groove in the thallus and colourless cells along the margin. #mosses#bryophyes#liverwort

One of my favourites, Perennial Sow-thistle, always brightens up a grey day. And I like the hoverfly too. #wildflowerhour#DaisyFamily@bsbibotany.bsky.social@wildflowerhour.bsky.social
