I’m also incredibly grateful for the time I've spent in the Computer Science department at Stevens It's been such a supportive place to build a computational cog sci group, and I’m looking forward to continuing the collaborations we started there!

I’m excited to share some news: My group and I are moving to NYU Psychology! I’ll be affiliated with both cognition/perception and social psych, and I am SO thrilled about this unique opportunity to help bridge the two programs 🤗

Human behavior is hierarchically structured. But what determines *which* hierarchies people use? In a preprint, we run an experiment where people create programs that correspond to hierarchies, finding that people prefer structures with more reuse. arxiv.org/abs/2311.18644 1/7

Now out in @PsychScience, led by Yael Millgram and Matt Nock: Using EMA, we examined how knowledge about what made people emotional in their daily lives impacted their desire, ability, and success in emotion regulation. A really exciting research space in ER. journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10....
