ABC quotes a US source saying the pager explosion operation was planned for at least 15 years. "Planning for the attack involved shell companies, with multiple layers of Israeli intelligence officers and their assets fronting a legitimate company that produced the pagers"
Per my count, since the first pager attack, #Hezbollah released 32 death notices. Four of them I think are not tied to the explosions, but tied to Israeli airstrikes.
That's honestly been one of the glaring weak point of Iran's strategy of relying on a network of fronts to acquire some of the parts it cannot produce itself.
If Israel is capable of carrying out such a large-scale attack, then it is possible that similar operations may be carried out against these supply chains in the future.
One thing to consider: #Hezbollah#Iran and its proxies have also used these products and parts as part of their own supply chain to produce drones among others.
