All of us will be affected; some of us will be affected much more than others. Places that were already bad in some ways will be much worse--but often in ways akin to how they were bad before climate change, just more often. (Note that Hurricane Agnes was in the 70s.)

While this is a horrible crisis, the "it's a surprise that climate change causes flooding in the bottomlands of narrow Appalachian valleys" is very weird discourse to me--of course it does! Simultaneously, "just move" is heartless; in many cases, you don't live there because you're rich.

I think he has done a contrast between Starmer and Sunak’s style; he thought what Starmer did worked (certainly better than Sunak) but nothing he said gave the impression it was particularly expensive
