It is! It’s amazing to me every year how many nerds join game club in the fall that I then convince to come out for wrestling in the winter. 😄
At my high school, I’m the big nerd leading game club, and the big jock, head wrestling coach. I love modeling breaking stereotypes and categories. 👨🏫 Over winter break, I dressed up as Santa and wrestled the assistant coach dressed as The Grinch. I finally collected all the photos. 🤣
I love FF6 so much. The story taught me a lot about the world in my adolescence, far more than I realized. One summer, I’m going to play through it with my kids.
Totally! The story arc of widowed dad exploring romance again was done incredibly well in writing and acting. Some of the best familial relationships done in of all of Trek. I also love his refreshingly healthy father-son relationship with Joseph Sisko. 🖖
Strong agree with the first one and last one. Sisko rules though. His relationships are top-tier Trek. Tryhard, often screw up of a dad, but is always loving. Refreshingly tender relationship with his father. Complicated, nuanced romantic partner. Playful friend. Steadfastly loyal leader.
