Three seems like a nice, reasonable number of kittens. Choice at the milk bar, nice number to snuggle.

I agree! She was so tiny in the belly we thought we had a bit more time. But three is good! Enough siblings to learn bite inhibition, not so many as to overwhelm the rescue!
