We cannot trust someone who didn’t work on the show and who will bring us the beauty the original writers did give us. You already have this team who will plot together to make the trilogy as great as the show which is why you shouldn’t be looking for anyone else

You were given an amazing team who wrote and directed the show and they did amazing on the show which is ONE of the main reasons why you need to hire them to work on the trilogy Simon, David, Amy, and Sarah are truly the only people the fans trust to bring back the emotional beauty of the show

I was thinking maybe dean originally had a different idea for the trilogy like maybe he wanted to do something completely different considering the story line but after the fans reaction to the new halo maybe he's now working on getting all the rights so that he can continue from where it left off
