Another classic of the form, from Politico: Walz's "growing number of inaccurate statements" consist of his saying he visited Hong Kong in Jun 1989 rather than Aug, conflating his wife's IUI with IVF, and accurately describing his military service. Yet this "may haunt the campaign"—self-fulfilling!

Headline:
Tim Walz has a tendency to misspeak. It may haunt the campaign.

Key members of Harris’ circle weren’t aware of some of Walz’s inaccurate statements until they became public, despite the vetting process.

The legal max an individual can donate to a politician is $3300. But somehow, the 5 largest political donors gave $441.2M to elect Republicans so far this year, to push their billionaire-first, working class-last agenda. This is what rigged campaign finance laws look like.

That…wasn’t luck

But Trump lucked out. The “Access Hollywood” scandal flamed bright and fast and died out just as quickly. About a half-hour after the tape was published, WikiLeaks conveniently began posting emails Russian hackers had stolen from the account of Hillary Clinton’s campaign chair. [Highlighting begins] The news cycle swiveled away. [Highlighting ends]
