1 amazing thing about much of The Discourse about college kids and anti-semitism is that it appears written by elite media types who would see the phrase “pro Palestinian protest on a university campus” and somehow not realize Jewish students would be immediately overrepresented among the protesters

It's so much easier to smear anti-genocide protests as antisemitic and gloss over the fact that opposing the actions of Israel is, for many of us, fundamentally and ethically linked to Jewishness.

The lack of coverage of this, plus the lack of coverage of all the Jewish protests thst have been happening *without a pause* since this all began is because it counters the narrative that everyone in power is trying to paint that busting up protests is "to stop antisemitism".

I went to OSU for undergrad, and what's wild to me is that while I was there, an anti-abortion protest set up shop, blocked a large walking path, and littered the area with graphic photos of fetal remains and not once did the school give a shit about it
