Bizarre introspective experience narrowing this to three. Young adult Zachary would be pretty different, but probably anytime in the last decade it’d be some combination of genre, respectable art and smutty art.

Saw 📽️ people on Twitter circulating three favs by three favorite directors… Jean Epstein: Finis terrae, Cœur fidèle, Fall of the House of Usher H. C. Potter: Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House, Cowboy and the Lady, Hellzapoppin’ Jean Rollin: Living Dead Girl, Fascination, Iron Rose

I don't care about Aronofsky's movies, mostly because his only tool is a sledgehammer, but that's what makes this potentially interesting. It could be the most scathing biopic imaginable. Anything less will be a disappointment.

I used to work in the books department of an auction house. Foujita's Book of Cats was one of my favorite books to handle. I so get psyched whenever I see it at a fair.

It was very “my friends all call me f--, but this movie just makes me feel things.”

I haven’t been able to find it again, but once upon a time some bro discovered the meaning of art beneath a clip of James Franco’s Britney Spears cover in Spring Breakers. It was beautiful.
