My father-in-law, Alan passed away on Friday. He died at his home peacefully, with his wife and four children next to him telling him how much they loved him, and sharing bad jokes. He was the best father in law you could ever have. And I still can't believe it. See you on the other side, Alan xx
Unfortunately and with a heavy heart, I've decided that due to some immediate family health issues (not me or Tracy), I've cancelled my appearance at the 20Books Vegas conference in November. I'm gutted not to be there, but I know you'll all have a good time without me.
Had a long-needed walk in Greenwich Park today with Tracy and Fosco - perfect day to do so. Autumn approaching, blue sky above. A chance to reset. To refocus. And this moment, as we walked towards the remains of the Roman Dianic temple was magical.
The HIGHLANDER Mondo print has gone on an adventure for a couple of weeks. Feels very weird looking at that corner now…
I once had a character use a sword. There was no need to mention the sword before that so I didn't. The artist told me they were actually grateful, as while they redrew eight-seven panels, it just made them better.
Gutted to hear about the passing of Keith Giffen, one of the people who got me back into comics when I was a teenager. His Ambush Bug and JLI books are still re-read, even in my fifties. Bwa-ha-ha, buddy.
Stunned I'm already on book four of my Tom Marlowe books - this one is possibly one of my favourites, and builds up the next arc of adventures... COUNTER ATTACK - available 23rd October on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited! mybook.to/counterattackJG
Went looking at new cars this weekend - saw this monstrosity. You can’t really make it out in the image, but the whole car was bedazzled with silver glitter… Hard pass.
