The context of this "feature" is that it's for NEW users, not existing ones. However, at the rate that Twitter bans NSFW creators, forcing them to create new accounts, they'll lose a hefty chunk of their users quickly.
What ruins a platform is saying you're okay with a notorious hate group propagating on your platform. I've never heard of it until now and that is their entire reputation to me. Excellent PR. It indeed has just become a platform for Nazis.
