Yeah, it was hard, it's still hard, and it's ultimately necessary. And cosy and sweet will go down nicely, I think! Mental note next time I sit down to a movie!
Because you're afraid of what you'll lose, but there's nothing to lose because you can't connect to anything for fear of letting the mask slip! Yeah. Like I said, I saw a lot of my 20s and 30s there.
Just absolutely devastating.
The family got me hard, yeah. And how we never get to see or think about them at all, they're there and everything is fine, don't worry about it.
I KNOW RIGHT?!?!?!? IT'S SUCH A SMALL DETAIL BUT HOLY HELL IT HIT ME HARD. The world just kept getting smaller and then when they made everything EVERYTHING in the last sequence it BROKE me! (I've overthought this a lot, obviously)
How the colour palette got more muted every time she almost came out but then at the last minute was scared back into the closet!!!!
HAH! It kind of is! You don't realize it while it's happening to you because it's the baseline and you assume that's just how everyone feels all the time, but with hindsight, WOW yeah, it's not great, would not recommend, 0/5 stars!
The first time, yeah. I didn't know! I keep overconfidently asserting that nothing affects me because I was semi-numb to my emotional life for 30 years that one time!
Agreed. Something wholesome and kind goes down smooth nowadays!
Oh HELLS yes. I cry more now than I did about four years ago in general, due to the brain chemistry of it all, but for this one I was WEEPING weeping by the end. Not a great movie to see so much of yourself in 😅
