Tonight, 8 pm CST: new episode of my podcast "A History of Comics in 500 Issues." This one is on British comics during the 19th century leading up to Comic Cuts #1 (1890), the most important British comic of the century. Also about the notable creators & publishers. patreon.com/jessnevins

Fantastic! What was the motivation for the trek? Were you excited to see it? Was he?

Random hot, boring summer afternoon in 93. I was 12. My mom randomly suggests we go see Jurassic Park. Dinosaurs, hell yeah! Started a lifelong obsession. She later told me she thought she might catch a nap. I was on the edge of my seat and so was she. Still my favorite memory with her.
