But the US isn’t allied with ISIS. The rump ISIS Caliphate isn’t viewed as the 51st state of the US. The areas captured by ISIS weren’t memorialized as cities “just like ours.” And we weren’t sending billions of dollars in munitions to help ISOS slaughter civilians. There’s a relationship.
