Do experimental neuroscientists still post their data to the CRCNS site? It would be really great to have a unified catalog of datasets, and I've found CRCNS useful in the past for finding data to work with. #neuroskyence#neuroAI#compneuro

CRCNS is still managed as an archive (although hard to access at times) but does not seem to be growing. DANDI and Dryad are winning out, or people just put stuff on their own sites.
we've posted some on DRYAD, and lots of people do DANDI these days… overall I find that there seem to be more and more data repos that the community is using?
Many labs have (slowly) migrated to DANDI / NWB formats since this seems to be the preferred format for NIH / BRAIN grants
Had a look (didn't know about CRCNS), but they seem to actively discourage posting new datasets crcns.org/contribute
