12-year-old me was a huge fan. First player I knew of as a prospect and I collected every card I could (and still have 'em). Bought an alleged 1989 game-issued jersey on eBay, too, and I'm not afraid to wear it.

The one time I was in the same room with Willie Mays: 2004 All-Star Game in Houston, with all of the living members of the 500 Home Run Club on hand. I got pictures of all of them, but Mays was the toughest retired player to get a shot of because of the crowd at his table. RIP to a legend.

I love when umpires aggressively gesture to bases when calling a balk, especially when a runner's on third and they point to the plate like a parent disciplining a child. "COME HERE! ... Right NOW, mister! ... Don't give me that look!"
