I UNDERSTAND why people choose to punch their ears for get to a larger size sooner but I rarly hear of success with lobe punching. The piercer should know better tbh that’s quite an advanced healing process and often these kids have never healed a piercing before.

Yesterday this young man asked me if he could ask me a question about piercings and I said ofc! And this kid had JUST gotten his ears PUNCHED to a 4g 😱 one fell out in his sleep and got infected and he was asking for advice on saving it and this poor kid looked like he was gonna cryyyyyyy

Tried to get Verin to practice writing the alphabet instead and he says “no! Only numbers!” And continued on. Okay son. Okay.

Found out Verin can count to 100+ and has been writing numbers 1-20 nonstop haha

Verin knew how to use primary colors before he knew what the hell a hippo was lmao. My bad Verin.

After my first therapy session all I can think about is how I can break cycles to ensure Verin won’t have to do so much healing in his adult years. How can /I/ be an active role in his emotional support system.
