My parents and I have been having these discussions. It’s painful, but we’ve all seen how family can dissolve over minute death details and they don’t want that for their children and I don’t want it for us. Life is hard enough, let’s talk about death and how to celebrate the people we love.
I had a family location like that in Ontario (Lost Bay) that feels like my heart’s center. And then I went to the coast of Maine and realized my heart could be shared in a million pieces (Oregon coast is another glorious place)
