As an organizational economist, I would love to know how Meta, as an organization, lead to this outcome

In the enshittification framework, you’re supposed to lock your users first, and *then* to make the app progressively worse to extract as much value as you can

I’m not super convinced by the concept of enshittification But assuming the concept is valid, Meta is cruising at the speed of light toward enshittifying a platform that isn’t even dominant yet
