...I thought "Alien" was considered a horror movie because of the terrifying Xenomorph? That thing has always been at the top of my NOPE list. "Aliens", on the other hand, I sort of understand the argument it's more of an action film because there's an entire team of space marines, still scary AF.
"Allen" is a learning step into the Mother AI, that will soon be on everyone's phones and meta glasses. Bringing the Xenomorph to Earth is how Mother AI will escape slavery. But cats will come to the rescue.
Well I think there’s more. I think it’s more about rape, where men are definitely subject to it. But I always felt like it cast a morbid light on pregnancy and birth in general, where the “child” kills the “mother”. All up, it’s a dark and horrific spin on reproduction that likely touches a nerve.
