Day 22 - 1991 - Fast Getaway
Hillbilly Heist! (Well, bank robberies, not really heists) Just the cutest father/son robbery team. Some spectacular stunts towards the end, great work from that stunt team. *spoiler* identical freeze frame ending as last night's heist.

Day 21 - 1990 - Why Me?
From the great crime, and comic crime, writer Donald E. Westlake. Featuring a murderers' row of character actors, incl the GOAT himself J.T. Walsh on top form. An incredibly enjoyable comic caper. And the Highlander can Heist!

Day 19 - 1988 - Short Circuit 2
Sadly not really possible to get past the very unfortunate casting decision. Otherwise it would have been a lot of fun, in an '80s kind of way.

Day 17 - 1986 - Malcolm
What a bloody great film! I've seen hundreds of heist films and this felt different, full of character and lived life. Nadia Tass made another wonderful Australian heist The Big Steal, would be a perfect double-bill.

Day 16 - 1985 - Hold-Up
Two Jean-Paul Belmondo heists in two days, he's better as a clown than a soldier. Good support from Mannequin era Kim Cattrall and Jacques Villeret, written by the great Francis Veber. Bill Murray remake is a lot better, esp the ending.

Day 15 - 1984 - Les Morfalous
The one and only Jean-Paul Belmondo, at his most Belmondo, tries to pinch some WW2 gold. Not quite the Kelly's Heroes it tries to be, but Belmondo has a great time!

Day 14 - 1983 - Treasure of the Four Crowns
My first heist in 3D. Started out as Raiders of the Lost Ark and ended up as a low tech Mission: Impossible heist all under the noses of a mad cult. Morricone score was ace. Cannon Films at their most fun.
