Here's the polychaete Bobbit Worm, Eunice aphroditois, named for the Lorena Bobbit case involving the removal of a male body part with a Ginsu carving knife. It has razor-sharp jaws that can cut a fish in half, or simply drag them to their doom. This thing is *terrifying*. Incoming GIFs warning!

A worm protrudes from black sand or soil under the ocean. It's slightly iridescent gold color, with jaws wider than the body, and small stunted arms that barely protrude. Antennae poke out of the maw on top of the head.
