Feels like a generational shift in Renters Rights Bill debate as MPs talking about their own renting problems as well as constituents'. One MP served Section 21 during election campaign, another on morning after polling day, a third told LL willing to let him stay if he paid 29% rent increase.

English Housing Survey (2022) data shows us that the dwelling type least likely to have a smoke alarm is high-rise flats. - Also, smoke alarms are less common in dwellings containing someone over 75 years old. - Also, smoke alarms are more common now in abled households compared to disabled.
