I do get asked this as a white person, because I have a very unusual Slavic last name that is not readily ethnically identifiable, and I'd say more than half the time it's code for "we really weren't expecting the person who came in for this interview to speak fluent English."

I've been doing TMS therapy for my depression for the past month and a half (went great, very easy, highly recommend) and about halfway though I had to explain to the psych that my depression had improved enough that my ADHD was sucker punching me repeatedly.
