It’s both an “it’s my species” reason and that lore wise Penn is a space/trickster denizen. That’s kinda their thing, to break 4th walls and fuck with canon. Also Poppy really would shapeshifter into the character they’ve decked out cause they want to look like that. Iunno what to tell you!

It’s kinda just like, an avatar type deal, except the species is a closed circuit. As in the only limit is that any interraction outside the inggus universe is non-canon. And the only exception to that rule is Penn (see icon).

I really haven’t worked on their universe or lore, and the species rules itself is barebones. For lore, they’re just a race of super titans that kinda just use their dominion for fun, whatever that means for them. Each Inggus can up to two main dominions and any number of sub dominions.

I recall borrowing a fair amount of the original plot line from okamiden, at least the themes. Into high school and the inggus had actually become a furry. I had decided to shelf it before I settled into macro furry and never picked it back up until a bit after I cut contact with my abuser.

Yes, a flipnote did have a maximum amount of space it was allowed to take up. eventually a science class and a fiction writing assignment at around the same time caused the actual birth of the species itself, named “Inggus” to pay homage to it’s roots.

So the inggus species is something that was born from the glitch Pokemon missingno. And flipnote hatena. Over doing multiple animations and inserting one missingno OC into almost every assignment in school I could, the OC slowly became pastel red, as to save on animation space.

I’m the same way with skyward sword. I was in its corner the whole time and people didn’t like it until it got remastered. I can see why though, the infrared tracking was in its infancy, it bugged out way too much.

I love FE Fates. I think their marketing was ingenious and it’s one of the few DS games I went out of my way to buy the special edition second hand. Paper Mario Sticker Star was my first Paper Mario game. People shit on it so much I became very stubborn about it. I like the holo effects a lot too!
