No, it really isn’t. I appreciate the want to help but it’s not effective at rapidly stopping a human sized threat, the damage it causes to people is long term nerve damage not immediate incapacitation. This is a sadly all too common myth. Good gel pepper spray is cheaper as well. Get that.

(IANAL this isn't legal advice): Do not use less lethal ammunition against a human threat. Legally, it's still a lethal use of force AND they are less effective at stopping a threat. Cops get away with it because they can kill with impunity. To everyone else that's just a gun you shot at a person.

Also, repeal the NFA. Suppressors are the best way to make guns hearing safe and should be regulated like safety devices instead of treating them under the same law that we treat bombs or machine guns as we do now.
