I am going on to bed. Very tired. But I will pick up with the character thread tomorrow. I’m having a lot of fun introducing you to my favourite fictional people.
Number 13: Granny Weatherwax. She’s a very smart, unschooled witch who will absolutely slay you with honesty. Unless a white lie gets a better result. She’s complex, is what I’m saying.
Number 12: Death from Discworld. There’s gonna be a streak of Discworld characters and I make no apology. He is a snarky guy but I think it’s bc he gets so much hate for walking with people to the other side. And maybe because pickles don’t translate to the ephemeral.
Number 11! My thumbs are getting sore! I love Tiffany Aching, a young witch in the Tiffany Aching Discworld books. She is a genuine icon of what death care looks like. As well as just an incredible character I enjoyed watching grow and evolve. She is one I revisit often.
Number 10! I like Crowley. I disavow half his creators, but I cannot help but love him. I hate to bring him up but Sir Terry Pratchett deserves some love for his help in creating him. He’s basically like Death, but snarkier. Honorary mention for aziraphael bc I’m not taking up two spots for this.
Okay. Number 9. This thread is revealing I like a lot of “bad but not really” characters. But Daria. I am basically her, but nonbinary. Everything else is the same except the part where I’m gayer.
I’m gonna lose count. Pretty sure this is number 8. Kronk. Also from the Emperor’s New Groove. Best and most goodest Jewish twunk.
I love the dowager countess as portrayed by Dame Commander Maggie Smith. Rest well, you absolute legend.
NICK WAS CORRECT.
