I watched the Twisters movie and no one prepared me how much of it is built on the premise that people who live in Oklahoma don't know they should get indoors during a tornado unless strangers in a truck show up to tell them

Having had to actually run from a tornado as a child, this bothers me so much, as it's SO FUQQING OBVIOUS in the moment that your ass needs to move somewhere safe, AND NOW. Especially in these movie areas that magically get tornadoes every day, but the moron that live there still act surprised.

I watched it in a theater and had low expectations going in. I just wanted a fun, summer popcorn movie. I’m still recuperating from the strain of rolling my eyes as hard as I did. The most interesting thing about it was the font used for the credits. I cannot overstate this enough: Fuck Twisters.

I'm impressed you watched the whole thing. I couldn't get past the first 15 minutes.

Yeah this was a real asterisk to my enjoyment for sure

I hate when that happens in a movie. Remember the movie After Hours? You have to pretend that ATMs didn't exist.

More nit-picky but "Anyone can remove debris but only we can collect this data so that would help people a lot more in the long run" is actually a very good argument
