From the ECB's ICEC Update (link below). If you really believe that the CEOs will be representing their men's and women's teams equally, then... I have a bridge to sell you! resources.ecb.co.uk/ecb/document...

We are committed to the principle of ensuring men’s and women’s cricket have equal representation, priority and focus within the ECB’s governance structures. We have finalised the Women’s Tier 1 and Tier 2 minimum standards, which will be included in the combined Men’s and Women’s CPA and Venue Agreements ensuring the women’s professional game has formal representation in our governance structures. Women’s Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams will become part of their respective First Class Counties and be represented by their CEOs alongside the men’s game. The Professional Game Committee and Recreational Game Committee (formal sub-committees of the ECB Board) cover both men’s and women’s cricket. Their Terms of Reference make it clear that men’s and women’s cricket are the direct and equal responsibility of these Committees. We have reviewed the terms of reference and meeting minutes to ensure that both men’s and women’s cricket are represented fairly throughout.

Lancs Chief Exec saying the quiet part out loud - all the new money - this is where it is going - inflating the salaries of the top men.

“England players don’t have to play in the championship, agents don’t care about the championship. More prize money would help and I think we need to find a way of paying four or five players a lot more money. Instead of £80,000-90,000 being the top domestic salary, we need to find a way of paying £200k … and saying part of that deal is that you don’t play franchise cricket.”
