Automatic Dlamini - The D is for Drum. An underappreciated West Country strangepop gem, more like The The than The Chesterfields: smart songs with metal percussion & funked out bass & funny lyrics. PJ Harvey joined John Parish in this band a few years later. Great live, too.
Finallly getting around to Alan Mooreās Voice of the Fire on audiobookā¦ only a few chapters in but already enthralling. Lovely to hear Maxine Peake, too!
