I’m so unreasonably excited. Is this normal?
This is the first time that I’m varnishing one of my paintings. It’s a gift for a friend, and I want to make sure it lasts, (The friend has seen it, so I’ve not spoiled it by sharing.) I put a layer of gloss medium on it a couple of days ago. Today I’ll apply the first layer of satin varnish!
Yeah. I get that they probably needed to do it, but I MISS HAVING AIRPORTS!!! 😭 However, I don't miss it enough to log into Steam, but I'm getting close.
Cities VR. It’s not as good as Cities Skylines as there are less options. Like a maxed city doesn’t get an airport, which sucks.
Okay. I’m in it. I’m stressed, and it’s the weekend. I’ve been in VR game land all day! I’m so into it that I forgot that I made a cup of my favorite green tea and lemon. It’s now break time. I just hugged a mug of tepid tea. I’m going back in!!! 👾✌🏾👋🏾
My parents were from the South and relocated to the West Coast where I was born and raised. They had some basic knowledge as a result. It wasn't enough for a small family of three. My best memories though were when they had chickens b/c we lived in the city. So very country but funny.
My mom had a lovely garden in our backyard with collard greens, peppers, and fruit trees. We still went grocery shopping.
Homesteading and having a garden in your backyard are totally different. Even if you are a homesteader, you’d not have the capacity to produce everything even then. You’d specialize your crops and any livestock you might keep.
My head is still in burnout mode. I was supposed to go to a networking event. I got out, got to BART, checked details there, realized I was late, and the event was wrapping up. I really need to figure out how to be independently wealthy.
I don't think there is one. When I lived abroad I met young and old people who were also expats.
