Shit... I didn't know it came with all of those effects...
So I guess I need to write up a letter of resignation.
Ive only been in the one big ass distribution center, so it's cool to see the same system is fairly standardized. Looking at it, this is MUCH smaller. The mezz I've worked with is 4 pallets deep on either side. They are on slightly angled rollers, so they "replenish" when an empty pallet is removed.
Probably a much smaller operation than what I am dealing with. The set up I've worked with can literally take something from any level and convey it to one of 20 different shipping docks to be palletized.
Though it looks like maybe they are going less automated, so maybe they all just join together at 1 end rather than snaking together to one point.
I know that structure VERY well. They still have to install the spiral conveyor to bring things up from the lower 2 levels and down from the top level.
Still no Internet though, so not quite back to normal, but at least comfortable.
FINALLY got power back. I can actually take a warm shower tonight and sleep comfortably.
