I think the 3D models are in a really good spot now, I just think the increase in scope for the sake of "innovation" is what's really hurting the series

i can agree! my main reasoning for returning to pixel art is that it's a lot less work compared to sculpting/rigging 3D models for the developers (who are 100% being overworked) but yes, pokémon should focus on perfecting its formula, rather than keep adding imo
