Seeing some tweets from people absolutely shocked that one of the effects in this week's AGATHA was practical rather than CGI, and like, yes, if you have eyes, that was very clearly practical. Have people just lost the ability to assess...anything?
Agatha All Along ep 3 an utter delight. I LOVE love this show. The decision to bring Debra Jo Rupp along for the ride was a stroke of genius.
No, last time I rewatched Daria was probably about 9 years ago, but I loved it then.
I was miserable as a teenager and HEATHERS was one of my bibles. I'd watch it over and over again to the point I know much of it by heart to this day, and I still don't think I fully appreciated just how genius it actually is. (3/3)
HEATHERS is a practically perfect film. Every element, from the screenplay with its razor-sharp wit, vicious satire, meticulous running gags and mirroring sequences to the direction to the design to the cinematography to the performances. Masterpiece. (2/3)
Watched Arrow's restoration of HEATHERS and a) looks absolutely gorgeous; b) still the greatest, most savage high school film of all time, and c) Winona Ryder never gets enough for credit for giving one of THE great screen performances here. Flawless star tour de force. (1/3)
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the terminally online c1s women into r*d wh*te and roy*l blu* are seriously unhinged. The attempted appropriation of gay language here is borderline creepy. Watch another film, read another book, just STOP.
Thank you!! 😘 It's so good to be home!
