It is impossible to overstate how much Sea Otter Awareness week cheered up my Instagram feed. Following lots of aquariums was an excellent idea. 🦦
And the longer you wait the less anyone else wants to talk to you about it, so even as I am wary of entering "the Rooney discourse," there's also the lure of participation!
On the one hand, though I do want to read it, I am not really keen enough on Intermezzo to want it in hard cover. On the other hand, it is currently possible to get it at a discount at some national chains for close to what will likely be the cost of the paperback when it eventually comes out. Hmmm.
I just opened up a file of some PPT slides from my classes in early March 2020 and it felt like my whole world tilted a little. I don't know what's more disorienting: that I don't feel like the same person I was then or that I do feel like the same person I was then, both of which are true.
Very warm hearted too.
Leonard and Hungry Paul gets my vote. Such a lovely novel.
Quite enjoying The Bee Sting so far. 🐝
That's a nice "it's a small world" moment!
