I'm glad that you found the thread informative!
YOU MUST TAKE YOUR MEDICATIONS TO HAVE STRENGTH TO WIN A RIGHTEOUS BATTLE.
It's a good thing that inks don't degrade too quickly, right? That ink drawer might be a lifesaver at times!
YOU MUST TOUCH SOMETHING SOFT TO HAVE STRENGTH TO CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES.
Inks as motivation!!! Also, yes, I can imagine the Inkvent would be a really good way splurge. Now that you mentioned physical stores, I'd probably lay off online shopping for a while and make sure I have to walk in order to get any ink. That might slow down my intake... I hope!
I have been resisting hoarding inks but I am also slipping toward it. XD So yes, I am just glad samples exist!
That *is* one advantage! With a converter, I wouldn't have to wait for the ink to get to the nib, either.
It got me curious as to how some of you approach this situation, and I was rewarded with your various responses. Thank you so much! (And yes, I am keeping this thread open to further input from pen friends on bluesky!)
All right. Wow! Thank you for all your responses! I was asking because, when I buy pens that go with cartridges, I usually use up the cartridges first because I am a long writer and I wanted to make sure I use up all that "free ink." But having said that, I do prefer using my fave bottled inks!
Totally valid! I do use my cartridges, but I have to admit that it make me all the fonder to use the converter on my ink of choice. And yes, sometimes I feel like some inks don't play that well with some pens...
