I found out too late that today was Tag des Denkmals (most tours were sold out), but you could get into a lot of cool places for free today! I visited Palais Niederösterreich.

From what I read, people didn't know they should have evacuated in advance despite the dire NWS warning on Thursday. Somehow this didn't get communicated to the public. I was shocked to hear my cousin stayed.

This graph is astonishing. The people that bang on about “natural birth” and “women have been doing this forever without help” need to be forced to stare at this until their eyes water.
