My grandparents have a beagle: Maggie. Every time she barks or howls, they give her peanut butter or treats "to keep her quiet for a while." I housesat for 2 wks while Gma had surgery. It took one afternoon for Maggie to quiet down. Them: she's neurotic. Me: she's got u wrapped around her paw.
I'ma be honest I'd pass those out at work like candy.
Any theories on why?
My mouth just did ***something*** while reading this. It wasn't watering. It wasn't pleasant. I cannot describe the sensation but it was certainly interesting.
Reminds me of seeing Tool a few years ago. An ex bf & I both liked Tool, but I figured it was 1) a big crowd, 2) I was in a private box and 3) he probably wouldn't be there anyway. Guess who was on the same subway car heading home. 😭 (It was totally fine, we chatted a bit, but SO awkward.)
I recently had a similar situation (hit a deer, fortunately no airbags in my case). The repair shop said that insurance totals a car when cost to repair > ~70% of market value. Airbags are super pricey, so a lot of times that pushes it over the line.
Protection from chargeback fraud is a big draw.
I love dreaming about traveling. I like traveling. I hate the work of planning trips, scheduling, and booking places to stay. (this bleet brought to you by trying to allocate 2.5 weeks travel to friends & family scattered throughout the SE USA)
Backmarket seems pretty reliable. I've been thinking about getting one myself.
You have summoned a twenty-year-old Taste Bud Memory and I am salivating. Gonna go google flights to Leipzig now and dream a little.
