Mmm, I think given how much more open many big names Democrats have been about criticizing Israel's actions, seems like movement on this is inevitable. Probably not as fast as it should be though.

TBH "talking about Israel makes people extremely angry and brings out a bunch of crazy people from the woodwork" has been true for my entire life and while that doesn't excuse ignoring the problem, I sure can understand why someone might not want to have an open forum on it.

I think the DNC speaking slot is less about Uncommitted itself and more just that any conversation regarding Israel is going to be a gigantic risk even if everyone involved in engaged in good faith. Its a complicated and difficult and awful subject that also excites the worst participants.
