Disappointed however that at no point does John David Washington ride an inverted bolder up into the sky like link

So I just watched Tenant on the plane and honestly? It rules. Itā€™s goofy as fuck. I understand why everyone was pissed after having high expectations coming off of inception, but if you donā€™t worry about it not making any sense and just let the goofy time shenanigans roll over you, itā€™s awesome.

As a kid one day I visited a monastery in Italy that had numerous cats. I caught one of the cats drinking from the bowl of holy water, and shot a concerned look to a monk who just smiled. Clearly it happened all the time. Iā€™m certain those cats are sanctified and dispel any evil spirits on contact.

it's ridiculous we have block, we have mute, that's all anyone needs to handle garden variety 'rude' behavior mods should stick to handling egregious and abusive behavior, not enforcing their definition of Miss Manners dinner party bullshit

at the bottom of the article you do get an actually illustrative comparison, namely that training Microsoft's GPT 3 required as much water as ... average yearly beef consumption for not quite two peopleat the bottom of the article you do get an actually illustrative comparison, namely that training Microsoft's GPT 3 required as much water as ... average yearly beef consumption for not quite two people

Microsoftā€™s data center used 700,000 liters of water while training GPT-3.

It takes about 6,992 liters of water to produce 1 pound of beef, mostly used to grow feed, clean the farm and hydrate cows.

Training GPT-3 has the same water cost as producing 100 pounds of beef, nearly double the amount an average American eats in a year.

Itā€™s kind of wild that even if his goal is pure profit at the expense of artistic expression, heā€™s not even accomplishing that! Revenue is in the toilet! At least competent evil makes sense, this guy just sucks!
