It was not thought that there's almost time where passive voice is better than active in scientific writing. It was felt to be strange every time it was read.
Crowdsourcing request for climate/paleoclimate people: I'm looking for a pub or web resource that shows mean annual surface temperatures (1) present/recent (2) modeled future under 1 or more RCP & (3) models for 1 or more "ancient" (say Miocene) configurations. Would be grateful for any suggestions!
Ideally all should be shown using same colorscale for temperature and same map projection and reference frame. Details of model parameterization not important as this is to illustrate a conceptual point.
