Losing Olise was obviously a huge blow but often overlooked is that Palace lost a player in Ayew who was excellent in Glasner's system when Olise/Eze were unfit.
Olise with another two goals and two assists for Bayern today. He's world-class and has been for 12 months, not just because he's joined Bayern. Was always going to be impossible to replace for Palace but the jury is out on just how well they've attempted to replace him.
Sorry to the Mateta stans but Palace's best front three is Eze-Nketiah-Sarr. I'd also be pretty offended if I were Lerma and Kamada started ahead of me in CM again.
