What is the best season of the year, and why is it winter?

Some nice things I've received this week... a bag from Sri Lanka from one of the staff at the care home where I volunteer, a card from a writer whose book I'm reviewing, a supply of liquorice from my little bro. 😊

Just by way of an update on our sponsored walk. Michael set a fundraising target of £100, but our total as of tonight is... £295!! Everyone at the care home is so proud of him, and they've even got some 'Well Done' bunting up!

Is there any treat more exciting for a child of the 80s than Pizza Hut salad bar?
