11. Yakuza: Like a Dragon It might've been weird at first for a beat em up series to transition to turn based RPG, but this game accomplished that and gave itself such a unique identity. Plus it has an awesome story, with an amazing cast of voice actors both in Japanese AND English.

10. Cold Winter An obscurity on PS2, this game is basically what you get when you give James Bond an M rating, complete with a more realistic, gritty edge. A pretty gory FPS game with solid gunplay, a simple but effective crafting system, and a variety of locations to visit.

9. Mass Effect Legendary Edition People love to bitch and complain about remasters and how they'll "never beat the originals", a philosophy I already hate, but this one I will defend even more. It overhauls the 1st game to make it much more enjoyable and overall is a great package of 3 masterpieces

8. Castlevania Curse of Darkness This game doesn't get nearly enough recognition. It was an awesome way to convert the Metroidvania format into 3D, making it into a hack n slash dungeon crawler with an excellent crafting system for equipment, and a complex system for raising Innocent Devils

7. Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus One of the only things me and my cousin were able to bond over as kids. Easily one of the most unique 3D platformers with its mix of stealth, combat and a variety of minigames. Plus it has a super memorable cast of characters and set of locations.
