yes, I've always wanted to do a bibliometric study of "<clichéd title>: more detailed subtitle" to see which clichés track within particular subdisciplines more. (and pet hate: "On <topic>: xxx")
I think this is because many citations are from people skimming through citation lists (e.g. gscholar) and trying to find one that sounds "right" to put in a "citation needed" slot. Joke titles are not transparent enough

definitely. Good luck with the writing. I find cognitive activity is surprisingly difficult at 10,000 meters. (BTW you wouldn't be en route to Durham would you? if so, see you there)
