September's been a busy one! 🐝 Lots of tasty networking, learning and connecting going on, including yesterday's Women in Business event with the Chambers of Commerce. And looking after strategic communications with core clients in education, healthcare and tech. It's all taking shape...
Thought-provoking discussion on AI in the beautiful surroundings of Ely Cathedral, courtesy of the Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce and Cambridge Tech Week. I have so much to say on all this I'm not even going to attempt summarising in a simple social media post. But here is a picture
Just had a moment where I realised how much the world has changed; writing a terribly polite email to say is it OK if I call at an approximate time tomorrow because I'll be on the move and can't guarantee I'll be in a set place for a video call. Whatever happened to: "I'll call you tomorrow" 🤦🏻♀️😂
Saw Birdsong at the theatre last night; really moving production, beautifully lit. Much better than the book, which as I recall was written by someone whose sweet spot was describing the minutiae of tunnels under the Somme, and less so the woman the main character falls in love with
Nice bit of news from me that I'm now a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. What with also being a Fellow of the RSA, I'm feeling like a jolly good Fellow this morning 😊

One thing I noticed at Cambridge Tech Week was how much men talk over women. * Panel. 3 women, 1 man; 2 guys next to me talk all the way through * Roundtable discussion; woman makes point, told she's wrong by host, he moves on * Networking drinks. Female CEO speaks to room. They carry on chatting
Excellent day at The Rising Festival yesterday; highlights included Jaspreet Kaur's incredible poetry intro and Dorothy Byrne (Channel 4, now runs a Cambridge college) very funny rundown of how female biology is intertwined with our working lives and it's about time we actually spoke about it
I'm off to the Rising Festival today, where as well as absorbing a ton of uplifting female empowerment moments, I'll be part of a mentoring circle, offering guidance on the topic of building visibility www.therisingnetwork.com/Rising-Mento...
