My Bird of the Day today is the Red-bellied Woodpecker. This one apparently took off before quality control got to it. I believe that adds to the rarity quality. 🪶

Today my Bird of the Day is the Brown Creeper. Such an unfortunate name… anyway this bird was doing an investigate lookin for bugs at UC Berkeley. Once spotted they’re easy to track but look away and *poof* bird gone. 🪶

Today my Bird of the Day is ridiculously cute and floaty. The Pied-billed Grebe. This one was in South Texas but they can be found across North America. Definitely a boopable bird, not that I would. 🪶
