Oliver is clear on the importance of getting the facts right, but he doesn't embrace the label "journalist." Alas, the conversation never turns to the view of "neutrality" that the Times makes central to its own journalistic mission - and that might certainly lead some to reject the label.
In other words, the best advice of the Times' own pollsters is NOT to pay too much attention to any one poll. That advice is at odds with how they use their own poll to generate headlines and drive traffic - which, perversely, it does most effectively when it's out of line with other polls.
